This difference is what prompted Alison,Eve Turner & Dr Josie McLean to come together to create a common platform called Climate Coaching Alliance for meaningful conversations for coaches globally.
An important question amongst those : What happens when coaches move beyond individual performance and start listening to the planet?
In 2025, a dedicated research project—12 by 12—was launched by three visionary coaches determined to find answers to a critical question: How are coaches practically weaving sustainability, regeneration, and systemic thinking into their work today?
The team conducted deep, intentional interviews with 12 pioneering coaches from around the globe. These are practitioners actively integrating ecological awareness into leadership development, organizational change, and coaching engagements.
They didn’t just scratch the surface and went deeper. They asked 12 nuanced questions to understand what it truly takes to coach for a regenerative world.
I deeply believe in the power of alignment. The connect to the hashtag#voiceinme in everything I do. It’s all about building a bridge between our internal intent and the external impact . This research brought out some commonalities globally which is interesting as much as the individual differences in the methodology.
I am incredibly honoured to join Dr Josie McLean and Claire d’Aboville for the penultimate session of the Coaching for a Regenerative World Pioneers CCA 12×12 series, on the 27th of May.
Together, we will weave the core insights, emerging themes, and learnings from this global project. Claire, who convened this series, will be sharing the overarching wisdom gathered from the research she co-conducted with Fran Smith PCC MSc and Padraic O’Donnell PCC.
